To open and verify a Corporate Trading Account with OneRoyal under our EU-regulated entity, companies are required to submit specific documents in line with regulatory and compliance requirements.
These documents allow us to verify the company’s legal existence, ownership structure, management, and registered address, as well as comply with EU regulatory obligations.
Required Corporate Documents
Depending on the company’s structure and jurisdiction, the following documents may be requested.
1. Company Registration & Legal Documents
Please provide the following to confirm the company’s legal status:
Certificate of Incorporation
or official Entry in the Commercial RegisterArticles and Memorandum of Association
(or equivalent constitutional document)Certificate of Good Standing / Certificate of Incumbency
(if applicable)
2. Legal Entity Identifier (LEI)
EU regulations require corporate clients to hold a valid Legal Entity Identifier (LEI) in order to trade certain financial instruments.
A valid and active LEI number must be provided
The LEI must be issued in the company’s legal name
The LEI status must be “Issued” or “Active”
⚠️ If your company does not have an LEI, you will need to obtain one from an authorised LEI issuing organisation before trading can commence.
3. Company Ownership & Management
To confirm ownership and authorised representatives, please submit:
Certificate of Shareholders
Certificate of Directors
These documents help us identify:
Beneficial owners
Directors
Authorised signatories
4. Proof of Address (Company)
A document confirming the company’s registered or operating address, such as:
Utility bill
Bank statement
Official government-issued document
The document must clearly show:
The company name
The registered address
5. Identity Verification (Individuals)
Proof of Identity is required for:
Directors
Shareholders
Ultimate Beneficial Owners (UBOs)
Authorised signatories
Accepted documents include:
Passport
Government-issued identity card
All individuals are subject to internal compliance and World-Check screening as part of regulatory requirements.
